Would I need any expertise to use VIDIZMO?

VIDIZMO allows users to be part of different Groups within the application, which determine their level of access and the actions they can perform. Some advanced features may also require a separate license (CAL). Here is an overview of the expertise you might need based on some of the default groups and potential CAL assignments:

IT Administrator & Portal Manager​

  • What you’ll do: Configure Portal settings, manage user access and permissions, oversee portal-related tasks.

  • Recommended skills: Familiarity with managing users, portals, and basic IT administration. Experience with creating or editing content can be helpful.

Content Manager Group & User Manager Group​

  • What you’ll do: Moderate and organize user-generated content, manage user profiles and permissions.

  • Recommended skills: Ability to evaluate and handle potentially inappropriate or irrelevant content. Basic understanding of Portal navigation and content curation is beneficial.

Contributor Group​

  • What you’ll do: Create or upload new content to share with others in the Portal.

  • Recommended skills: Knowledge of content creation tools. Ability to ensure content is relevant and properly targeted.

Viewer Group​

  • What you’ll do: View or consume content within the portal.

  • Recommended skills: Basic computer literacy, such as opening a browser and logging in.
